In Inquiry lesson, we had to make a song about the three states of matter. We can pick any tune we like but we can also make our own tunes( which some of us did). It was a great experience.  But it was also hard to make it, because we have to think of our own lyrics and find out what tune do we want to use for the song.

Candles!

In Visual Arts class, we made a candle.The steps are:

1. cut a milk carboard length(10cm)
2. tie a knot with a cotton rope on a ice scream stick
3. put the ice scream stick on top of the 10cm milk carbox that was cut before
4. cut/break the candles into half (do the same to the crayons any color)
5. put the crayons and candles in one metal pot/pan
6. take a bigger metal pot/pan and fill it in with water.
7. put the metal pot/pan that is filled with crayons and candles inside the other one
8. turn on the stove and stir it until the crayons and candles are perfectly melted together
9. turn off the stove then pour the melted crayons and candles in the milk carboard that we did before
10. wait until it is dry
11. Decorate your candle!!!

In this game, we have to find the affix of the main word that Ms.Lenny gave us. Example: Susu=Menyusui, Main=Bermain and many more.

Fractions!!!

In maths, we are learning about fractions and it`s family (Fractions, Decimals, Percentage, and Ratio. But we learned  about fractions first. We had to cut the origami paper to squares so it can be a fraction.

Technology presents...

On that day, we had to make a poster about the good and bad things about technology and explain why is it good or why is it bad. We also had to present it in front of our friends by pairs. We were divided into 2 teams. The first team have to present first then the second team will present last. To save time for presenting, we did a bus stop. So every-time Ms.Lenny ring the bell, we have to stop presenting on the group that we presented to (finished or not) and move to the next group. It was an exiting experience... It`s also a practice for us to be fast in presenting.

T.M.S Cup

In T.M.S CUP, we had a lot of activities which are:

Francis Karel, Maura Gabriella (Francis Karel`s sister), DJ Phillbert, DJ.Lorenzo, and DJ.Nelson, to sing and entertain us. They are such great singers! We had a lot of fun during the T.M.S. CUP. Thanks to all of the people who make the T.M.S. Cup come true.

Peace Day!

On peace day, we had some challenges to do. for year 4,5,6, we had to make a short paragraph about  what can students do to crate peace in school. In each class, there are three winners. We also had to make a drawing of peace with the topic`peace begins with me', in groups. For the next peace day,we have a choice to use the normal batik uniform or use our own free clothes. If we pick to use free clothes, we have to pay Rp.10.000 to be donated to charity. it was a very fun event!

Tiny Inventors...

In unit 2, we had to make our own invention or something that is made, but we have to improvise it.We had some difficulties to find the ideas but, we all succeeded. Even though it was hard, but we never gave up. And that is also one of the things that we learned from making this project. HOORAY FOR US!!!

Unit 2 Excursion Day!

For our unit 2 excursion, we went to Jakarta smart city town hall to learn more about technology.

We saw a lot of new inventions that we did not think existed. We also rode a double decker bus on that day. When we rode the bus some of us said that he/she really felt taller than anyone else on the street, since we sat on the 2nd floor. we had a lot of fun!!!

Peace day cellebration

On Monday 19 2016 we prepared a peace day poster with year 4-6.  While year 1-3 did a bookmark

During week 1 of unit 2, we did a technology  presentation.
we were divided into groups of 2{Free choice} We all went to all the different groups/Tables.

YR5 Camp!!!

 All these photos where about the yr5 Camp
with Meruya and Kedoya. All the kids from Year5 Tunas Muda had to stay in Tunas Muda Meruya for 1 night. We were divided in to 6 Groups {Red/Orange/Yellow/Green/Purple and Blue}
The first thing we did was we got to school at 3:00 or 3:30,
chat with our friends from Kedoya and Meruya. Right after that, we had a little snack <like Bread,Milk, Chocolate>. Then that we all met our mentors from OASIS the student counsel of yr11 Each group have two mentors from yr11. And the rest of OASIS was hosting the GAMES and Events.

Technology - Questionnaire - tuning in and finding out activity

The yr5 students are asking the students and teachers permission if they have spare time to answer the question air.

We have to collect data of what type of technology that most people like to use and why. After that we have to analyze our data and make conclusion from our finding.
